At Trader Joe’s you do everything - you can’t apply just to be on register or just to stock, but you CAN at every other store, so I agree: if a place like Trader Joe’s doesn’t seem like a decent fit, apply at another grocery store where you CAN stock shelves or do back room work.

It actually isn’t run much differently, now. Trader Joe’s was doing so much better than Aldi’s that they reformatted how it’s run, and now the two are run almost the same. Also, Trader Joe’s pays it’s employees INSANELY well. Tell me another grocery store that will pay $24/hr to an employee for scanning groceries and…
