I know that it is within the realm of Kinja to have an actual commenter grade poll at the end of each of these. Every week I think that same idea. Might even garner more clicks.
Comedy is subjective and that’s fine of course but these grades straight up don’t make sense to me. I feel like I’d have a better shot at predicting the grade for a given SNL episode if I just threw a dart at a grading curve. It’s sort of bizarre. This was one of the funniest SNL episodes I’ve seen in quite some time.…
Terrible title, has no symmetry with the rest of the series. It’s supposed to be “Bill and Ted’s [80s skater slang] [word implying travel]”. My suggestion is Righteous Destination.
The Mengele Effect in action! *That’s* an episode of Millennium. No Mulder and no Scully.
Cerulean blue is like a gentle breeze.
Scully:
Oh my god, Mulder. It smells like... I think it’s bile.
Darin Morgan is just such a damn champion. It’s wild. (Also, he is the only writer who would create a situation in which they go back and alter an episode he acted in, and have someone shoot him in the head. Bless.)
I’m not an X-Files fan at all. I really have seen hardly any of the show - I know the characters a bit from pop culture references, and the most I’ve seen is an episode and a half from this season, only half paying attention. I caught almost all of this episode and laughed my head off. The alternate theme song, the…
NPR taped part of his act and he was making jokes about being blind. As I recall, the joke went like this: “You laugh at us blind people when we walk into things! But we laugh at the sighted when you fall down!”
Carter tried—apparently Patrick was not interested in Season 10 and it was impossible to schedule a Season 11 appearance due to “Scorpion.”.
Nope.
I also had the kid-oriented novelization, and my dad took me to see it (I was 7 at the time). Pretty much everything that wasn’t a swear word (including “I bet she gives GREAT helmet!”) sailed over my head.
Bravo did a little interview with her after she announced it on her Instagram and it sounds serious, which is really awful, but it also sounds like she’s getting awesome care which is good. She’s very young and still has so much cooking to do so I hope she recovers from this quickly.
Well damn. That’s horrible. All the best to her. She is the most fun cheftestant in recent memory.
Damn it. Thanks for the update, I don’t follow any of the chefs outside the show and I’ve really come to love Fatima this season. Hope she gets well and goes back to making amazing food.
After the showed those pictures from Fatima’s instagram, I checked it out and turns out she’s fighting cancer right now. She’s going through her treatment and losing her hair; it is pretty upsetting. I love her on the show, she’s just so honest and funny and I hope she gets better soon!
Brother can call himself the Boogieman, but what he showed us all in LCK is that he’s nothing but a chicken-shit dickhead weasel, and a poor sport.
If you like brilliant, original comedy, and you aren’t watching Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, Darcy Garden, and the other fantastic actors on The Good Place, fix that. It’s the best show on television. If you have Hulu, maybe start from the beginning. If not, watch anyway.
Yeah, it’s interesting isn’t it? I think the best artists are often (although not always) people who having these warring parts of themselves, and that they are able to create art from extremes of themselves. I also think artists can be very good liars.
