Yes! Dylan’s wife had it right. :)

They did end with a hug at the end of the reunion. You could tell the other cast members felt for them.
But 6 months had gone by, and she had to lie for him in every single situation on camera. He spent her money and lied to her for MONTHS. He got married on Bravo.. followed by sexting another woman. I’d say what she did was 1/8 as cruel as what he did to her.
Yeah, but hearing the facts about their relationship made it all the more clear that Shay was in the wrong, completely. He hid an addiction, when it came to light she stuck by him, and he turns around and spends all of her money (“It was always HER money, it’s HER marriage”.... yeah dude, if you’re not contributing…
I thought Marnie showed growth - like when Hannah was spewing out nonsense crap in that fight, she kept her calm and rationale. And she stuck it out instead of fleeing. I think she did prove to be the “best friend”, even if it gave her some pride just in having lasted.
So... elephant in the room.. anorexia, yeah?
I’m more offended that these actors are never used for quality material (except for Kenan and the obligatory “cut to his funny face in the group sketch” shot). Instead we get Cecily Strong 15 times a night.
No, I LOVE Michael Che!! He’s hilarious.
I feel like they didn’t really give Jay a chance besides impressions (which is exactly what he says in this interview). When did they let him do a fictional character like they always give Bobby Moynihan, etc.?
Um no I meant Katy. Katy always sounds like shit when she performs live. I am by NO means a fan of Taylor Swift (I never let a song of hers play without switching it) but at least she writes her music, so she’ll always earn her spot.
If she could actually sing, play an instrument or write a song (especially sing, because that’s what she’s making us listen to when she performs) I could get behind this. I thought it was pretty cool she congratulated Gaga after Superbowl.
I rented it on Redbox with the husband and low expectations, and came away LOVING it and crying a few times. It is definitely not the most depressing movie I’ve ever seen - there are many moments of hope - and yes, so well-written and acted. Casey definitely deserved the Oscar and Michelle Williams at the least her…
I love you for posting this. Great scene. He’s seething in jealousy.
Agree with Soft walks and Born. Both with umlauts I believe?
Hey hey hey. It could be great. Many worse shows are on TV.. I’m happy to see where these characters could go (men included).
That’s not the only reason. She comes off as an awful, annoying person in every example I’ve seen her in. And she’s not a good actress. *shrug* Not everyone has to like everyone.
So? Maybe he was “in” with the writers more, or didn’t have the pills she did before the show. He was likable, she wasn’t.
You obviously didn’t garner the sympathy you wanted here. Quit while you’re (not) ahead.
That’s sister to sister shit. Maybe you need a sibling (or a sister) to get that, but it’s not abusive. When you grow up as tight-knit as they are you are closer than best friends. Lastly in that one little “meme” weren’t they like early 20s? A lot of people are shitty in their early 20s. Guess who they’re…
I must disagree with most commenters on here, or did not find the sympathy they did after reading Anne’s hesitant answers. I am one of those people who can’t stomach her. No, James Franco did NOT come across as the bad one at the Oscars - he knew his lines and was actually funny trying to deal with her craze. This…
