My friend worked at a restaurant/bar in Park Slope where they put a no kids sign out front - I think it actually said something like "No, we don't have high chairs. This is a bar."

I feel bad for the parents. I can imagine getting a resi there and looking forward to it only to have a last-minute sitter cancellation. THAT WOULD SUCK because finding a sitter these days is akin to online dating, especially if you're new to the area and don't know anyone. Last-minute? Forget it.

That's "prix fixe" isn't it?

"KIDS DO THAT"

code for

"I'M A SHIT PARENT AND I'M RAISING A TURD"

i wouldnt want to bring my baby to a fancy dinner like that bc i would want to be able to enjoy every leisurely bite. with a baby, you have to eat in 3 minutes or less and get going!

Ok, potentially problematic, but I'm withholding judgment until we find out where the goat skin came from. We don't really make use of the skins of the animals we use for meat eating, usually, right? Maybe it's worth thinking about how we can use all parts of those animals.

Because Ron Howard has always been classy.

She looks gorgeous!

I'm pretty sure Kristi Yamaguchi was the shit when I was growing up.

Michelle Kwan is considered a figure skating legend and is the most decorated figure skater in U.S. history. But you wouldn't really know it with the way people go on, and on, and on, and on about Kerrigan.

Yeah, I love Masters of Sex, and I am still pissed that Lizzy Caplan totally got snubbed. I am so excited for next season, after the finale this year. I just read the biography that the show was based on, and now know the general jist of what happens with Masters and Johnson, but surprisingly, I'm more invested in

I wonder if being white, blonde and pretty had anything to do with this...

And Edna the maid has creeped me out from the get-go.

So, you're saying that MTV has actually become more educational than the learning channel? What the hell happened?

I LOVED this dress. Simple, but with interest, flattering and age-appropriate.

Meanwhile Zimmerman still runs free, even after proving himself to be a goddamn psycho!

By that logic nothing should made better for anyone anywhere because there is always someone who has it worse.

Tbh, I'm leaning towards the latter. Matthew is a lot of things. Bright isn't quite one of them.

And even if not adopted...still a child.

I don't know. I just thought it was a combo of being excited and overwhelmed, and then having to rack his seemingly slow brain (c'mon this is Matthew McConaughey!!) to not embarrass himself with butchering Chiwetel's name. shrug. That's what I thought anyway. No shade.
