Jehovah’s Witnesses do not refuse standard medical care. The only procedures they refuse are blood transfusions. I was raised as one.

They aren't anti-vax or anti medication. They just don't do blood transfusions. I've known a few witnesses and I have some in my extended family. I've always loved that they don't get involved in politics or fight in wars.
