God, I was so in love with Bailey Quarters.

Making jokes about transvestites wasn't a thing in my mid-70s world. While "drag queens" were certainly popular in the NYC rock and roll world (at least according to all those "Rock Scene" mags I read back in the day…W/Jayne County), I think Skip using the term "trannie" is a bit of an anachronism.

Not denying there were (I remember a Newsweek cover story about sex change from the mid-70s), but I just found the casual manner in which the comment was made to indicate TVs were as common place as his comment makes them seem. I don't believe they were, so the comment and the passive reaction seemed prematurely

It was def a racquetball racket. Another odd anachronism was the crack about sex with transvestites in Vegas. It seems a bit premature of a comment for the era.

Ugh. Every time she's on the screen, the whole lot of us hope that one of the parents will snap her neck and put her out of our misery. She's on par with Joffrey in terms of Characters Who Must Die.

The standard bearer for most obnoxious teen on tv is still Paige Jennings from The Americans.
