Except not really? The Dornish plot in the books is actually interesting and is leading into events happening in the next book.

I mean, he’s not a mad scientist, but he is a scientist who is mad.

I think the sad irony of Brienne of Tarth is she mimics ‘male knighthood’ but only grasps the bullshitty ideal of it and not the reality of how crappy ‘chivalrous men’ are. that makes her truly the most noble knight - she is truly chivalrous and noble. I love her and wish her well, Pod too, he is a pure-hearted soul.

You’re STARTING to think Brienne is the greatest hero? It’s been clear for a while that she’s the only True Knight in the story.

Brine looked so happy after her little oath ceremony; she’s been waiting for a long, long time for something to go right.

Sansa definitely is in good hands with Brienne - who remains an unequivocal badass.

Brienne of Tarth is a loyal badass! I’d follow her into battle.

What pisses me off more than anything about last night’s episode is the shit I’ve had to wade through afterward.

You are starting to feel like Brienne is the most heroic? About time. She is exemplifies the “Knightly” ideals that most of the male knights abandon at their earliest convenience. She has been doing that since season 2. Brienne is a naive mess, but she is the best knight in Westeros.

I dub thee Brienne of Tarth, Beater of Ass, Taker of Names!!!

I’m pretty disappointed in how much of a chump they made Hotah into, but at least it’s helping wrap up the Dorne crap.

I may have ugly-cried a little at the oath-swearing.

Honestly, I tend to like television/movie versions of things better than the books. That may make me an uncultured swine, but that’s ok. His books are too long and his writing isn’t that great. So. It works really well as a show and I’m glad the powers that be decided to adapt it.

the difference is i’m not wrong

Counterpoint: I think it’s a great show!

They tell you! This only reinforces what I said earlier about the viewer being Theon Greyjoy.

This is just...so dumb.

GoT had no more “boobs and blood” than a lot of premium HBO TV, from Deadwood to Rome.

GOT has always got by on the stellar acting from its core cast and a story that keeps people tuning in next week to see what happens to people they’re invested in.

The only people who care about the boobs are

game of thrones’ violence is awesome

I have hope that they will be able to fix it simply because the screenwriters are no longer tied to the book’s plot. Also, they need to throw the audience a bone an have something good happen to the characters we’re invested in. Sansa needs to be vindicated, the remaining wolves need to get revenge, or at the very
