I live just outside Portland and this is not an inaccurate description of Portland, other than that it doesn't have those places you mentioned. It has other places that are similar.

We always hijacked the A.V. Club reviews. I remember they canceled The Expanse reviews (which they ended up bringing back after a small but noisy public outcry) because they weren't popular enough, but I think that was just because no one was hijacking its comments sections so each review only had a couple hundred…
