No, but it might be the first mainstream comedy to make a creampie joke.

Garfield might be a better actor, but he's an AWFUL Spider-Man and TASM was one of last year's worst movies.

Oh, don't get me wrong, the script can be downright goofy… but I'm willing to forgive that.  Park Chan-Wook mines the script (a startlingly fun bit of gothic fluff) for every bit of atmosphere he can and then turns what could have been a turgid, airless drama into a dizzying, sensual feast.  Toss in excellent,

It isn't my favorite movie of the year (I will be shocked if Stoker and Before Midnight aren't still in my Top 3 by the end of the year), but it might be my favorite movie-going experience of the year.  A big, messy, joyful ode to what we can achieve when we work together, it's exactly what I want from a summer movie

Depends on how much you buy.  It costs 25$ per year, so if you get 10% off each 20$ purchase, you'd have to buy 13 Criterion blu-rays to make up the difference (if I'm doing the math right).  Of course, if this weekend actually is 20%, you can make up the difference much quicker, and you do get coupons for joining.

I didn't find out until after I made my first set of purchases - thankfully, I held quite a few back.  I'll probably grab another 3-4 this weekend, if I can get 'em even cheaper than I got that first batch.  There are just too damn many ones I want to pick up, though.

Just grabbed Sansho the Bailiff, Repo Man, Howards End, and Dazed & Confused.

THIS MAN/WOMAN/CREATURE SPEAKS TRUTH!

That's still kind of embarrassing.  That was… not a good movie.

What's more, the blockbusters they've given a pass to (Star Trek Into Darkness, Lone Ranger) have largely been some of the summer's absolute worst.

I still buy the albums I really love - it was because of Spotify that I grabbed up Robyn's "Body Talk" and the Limousines' "Get Sharp" and "Hush" as well as one or two others.  But I may be in the minority.

All-boys Catholic high school here, and I had almost that exact question, word for word.  (no mention of STDs, it was just pregnancy)

"Dixon's Girl" through "Matches to Paper Dolls" might be my most-listened-to section of any album ever, and it was "Mineshaft II" that first got me into her music.  I love that song dearly.

It was Koski's first review that got me into Dessa in the first place, so I'm definitely glad to see her return for the follow-up.

I was expecting the same, but having heard the album a good few times now, there's not a bum track on it.

Hey, that's not fair. It was very pretty shit most of the time. Like, well-processed organic manure already lying out in the fields, fertilizing lucrative Franchise Crops for years to come.

One little detail that gets highlighted in this episode to help thoroughly set-up Jaye's outsider status: her family is Karen, Darrin, Sharon, Aaron… and Jaye.

"There it is."

"A New Start" is quite a bit of fun and I found "Indian Takers" pretty charming, while "Off the Hook" is a bit weak later in the season, but overall, definitely.  From "Colony Collapse" through the end of the season, it's like old AD all over again, except somehow even weirder and more ambitious.

I hope Sarah Chalke whipping her dick out doesn't awaken something in me.
