On Point 2: Yes, but in the event of an air data disagree, the autopilot would likely kick off.
That depends on their typical airline ops. Many airlines will engage autopilot shortly after the gear come up and leave it on for the rest of the flight. Others do more hand-flying.
The MAX is absolutely not FBW. It has hydraulically-assisted cable flight controls just like the NG did.
I’m constantly amazed / bummed out by the fact that your average comment on an aviation news article is more accurate and better explained than the article itself.
The plane will automatically revert to a dive when an aerodynamic stall has potential to occur.
As much as I want to join the chorus of people giving Evan crap for thinking he’s “too old for a hot hatch,” I kind of understand where he’s coming from. I was graduating college with the first gen MS3 came out, and even at 23 I thought that car would be a bit much to live with day-to-day. The ride was rough, the…
My wife and I both have GTIs (hers is a Mk VI, mine’s a Mk VII), and both bucket and rear-facing seats fit just fine. Any hot hatch. Seriously. The RWD hot hatch needs to be A Thing.
Granted, I am only a few hours into the game...
Hey, power is just a means to an end. Even the 155 hp ND was quicker to 60 and through the 1/4 mile than the BRZ despite what the numbers would suggest.
To be clear, I only use the phrase “took out” in reference to guards in Call of Duty. Seems a little blasé in this context.
Is “took out” really the phrase we want to be using here?
I don’t see why all states should not have safety inspections at the very least. They are not burdensome or expensive.
The Jedi can be anything he wants them to be, that’s my point.
