My wife and I both have GTIs (hers is a Mk VI, mine’s a Mk VII), and both bucket and rear-facing seats fit just fine. There is a little compromise in front seat leg room, but unless you or your partner is in the NBA, it’s not a big deal. If you’re interested in one, most dealerships are happy to let you try a test fit.

You know what’s depressing? A $155,000, 600 hp, carbon fiber super car that looks like...an S60 coupe. Because both of those thing would be great on their own! I’d say its looks are “interesting,” which coincidentally is about the best that can be said about mine.
