As much as I want to join the chorus of people giving Evan crap for thinking he’s “too old for a hot hatch,” I kind of understand where he’s coming from. I was graduating college with the first gen MS3 came out, and even at 23 I thought that car would be a bit much to live with day-to-day. The ride was rough, the

My wife and I both have GTIs (hers is a Mk VI, mine’s a Mk VII), and both bucket and rear-facing seats fit just fine. There is a little compromise in front seat leg room, but unless you or your partner is in the NBA, it’s not a big deal. If you’re interested in one, most dealerships are happy to let you try a test fit.

Yeah, if I’m buying a small, sporty, front-wheel drive car for $25-30k, it’s going to be a GTI. More power, (way) more torque, and you can get it with a manual.

Pavarotti is a tenor, Paganini was a composer.

Looking forward to Toyota rolling this out in 2036.

Any hot hatch. Seriously. The RWD hot hatch needs to be A Thing.

Granted, I am only a few hours into the game...

Hey, power is just a means to an end. Even the 155 hp ND was quicker to 60 and through the 1/4 mile than the BRZ despite what the numbers would suggest.

To be clear, I only use the phrase “took out” in reference to guards in Call of Duty. Seems a little blasé in this context.

Is “took out” really the phrase we want to be using here?

I don’t see why all states should not have safety inspections at the very least. They are not burdensome or expensive.

The Jedi can be anything he wants them to be, that’s my point.

Believe it or not there’s actually a whole #NotmyLukeSkywalker faction out there that keeps harassing Rian Johnson for “what he did to Luke.” Never mind of course that Luke’s departure and the entire impetus for it were set up in the previous movie by J.J. Abrams and LAWRENCE FUCKING KASDAN.  Also never mind that

Remember, Rian didn’t put Luke on that island. J.J. did.

If you’re going to roleplay as an evil Emperor, be ready for everyone else to roleplay as the rebellion.

You know what’s depressing? A $155,000, 600 hp, carbon fiber super car that looks like...an S60 coupe. Because both of those thing would be great on their own! An S60 coupe that looks like the concept from a few years back? Yes, please!  A Polestar halo car?  Also, yes!  But both in one car?  Uhh......

I’d say its looks are “interesting,” which coincidentally is about the best that can be said about mine.

Does a car that’s been dead for several years think...well...anything?

Honda actually said, “What’s a sports car? We haven’t built one in ten years.”
