Got this one coming soon too...

This is actually a 109 G-6. I wouldn’t normally be so pedantic, but my user name is TheAirplaneNerd.

Brake fires are not uncommon during an overweight landing. It’s doubtful that they had time to dump fuel before coming back around to land. If you’re hydraulics are out, melting the fuse plugs is pretty low on the priority list.

Erm...except the ones that do.

The Steam reviews for this game are going be fucking gold.

Same here. Just about every out-of-warranty visit to a mechanic sucked exactly $1,200 out of my wallet. It was uncanny.

Technically, it’d be everyone’s. #communism

Got my private pilot certificate in a Cessna Cardinal, and I’ve always had a soft spot for the black sheep of the Cessna family.

The ships in the game are procedural as well, and there are hundreds of iterations within the three basic types: freighter, explorer, and fighter. The one shown is an example of a fighter class.

Got to see a presentation at this year’s Society of Experimental Test Pilots Seattle conference from the guys who modify these DC-10s for firefighting. What these pilots do is absolutely badass. My hat’s off to them.

What do you think of the engine/intake/exhaust noises? How does the noise compare with older Miatas or the Toyobaru?

Wouldn’t you want a car with a) only 100 hp and b) a low-revving diesel engine to have more than 5 gears to keep it in the power band more of the time?

Surely the most popular spec car in America deserves a spot on the list...

Was pretty surprised at the number of actors *at Comic-Con* who were just like, “I don’t understand these words that you are saying to me.”

This brings up a really interesting point. I was always under the impression that a scoff was a less severe reaction than a gasp. Where does the ‘balk’ fit into the spectrum?

Civics, Preludes, S2000s, NSXs, all with screaming DOHC engines and snickity-snick gearboxes. Man, we didn’t know how good we had it.

Made out of uranium? Check.

I think the devs should have been a bit less ambiguous about the gameplay early on. Now they’ve got this huge hype monster to feed and a lot of unreasonable expectations that will never be met. After playing the game at E3, Danny O’Dwyer from Gamespot made the comment that people likely need to temper expectations a

The devs have said that it is exactly Option 2. You will be separated from the nearest player by hundreds of solar systems and you are not likely to ever encounter another human avatar. GameInformer did an article about this very topic back in December that explains in-depth how multiplayer is being implemented.

You can definitely upgrade / customize everything though. The devs haven’t really gone into the depth of these systems, but reports from other gaming outlets (Gamespot in particular) have said that there are “millions of options.).
