SBA Thanks You For All The Fish

I’ve always had a wish to find an AWD safari, dump in a Sy/Ty engine, paint it all black and call it, the “Hurricane”

How do I give you more stars for this?

I buy dress shirts at Costco.  And Nordstrom.  There is a difference in cost, quality, and service.  Sometimes I need one, sometimes I need the other.

I both applaud and admire that, but it probably wasn’t February in Minnesota.

It will be interesting to see what the model is.  Concierge / home service for light work?  Service center for the big stuff?  Who decides?  It’s going to be interesting to see the whole thing develop.

And the need every dime to stay solvent, it seems. This will all work as long as they remain a cult. When they become more like other car makers (inevitable as they mature), things will become, by necessity, a tad more traditional.

Right? Dealers happened because they made sense, no matter the source / control of financing.

Here you go:

Weirdly, the taillights were used for the Canadian market-only Lada Niva Pickup.

The drivetrains were so solid a family friend drives nothing but these vans. He'll buy one, put half a million miles on it, find another and repeat. He's on his 4th Astrovan.

Stock is trading down over 3% after hours. Closing stores strikes me as a drop in demand and/or cash flow issues, especially with a $920 million debt due Friday.

Now we need more berating of the fools at Grumman who don’t understand system integration

I’ve found Subaru North America to be the exception. Just call the direct line there and they go out of their way to remedy problems dealers won’t touch.

This is not such a hot idea.

The base Volvo Polestar 2 has its Fed tax credits and costs no more than this bare bones Model 3 (doesn’t even have power steering. Yukkk!!) with cloth (!) seats. So what moron would buy the Model 3 base rather than the Polestar 2 base?  You would have to be an idiot.

If I had any stock in TSLA or was owed a “refundable” deposit, I would find this very troubling.

My first thought was “so what about test driving,” but then I realized that every person I know who currently owns or is in the process of buying a Tesla, never drove it before they bought it.

I feel like this is Apollo 13 level thinking here

Eat your heart out 11foot8 bridge.

Being a Russian ship, I expect we’ll have dash cam footage soon.
