His comment was clearly addressed to Rory-- and The Powers That Be.

Well, it’s got to be pointed out that “lithium ion batteries” already are “too-invested” to the point there’s no margin to be made. NOBODY is going make any money (much) building laptop cells for cars, which is what Tesla is basically doing. And, despite the cries of “innovation” from Torch’s buddies the Teslastans—

Atkinson or Miller cycle?

Rory doesn’t take proof-reading well... and, yeah, “accellerating” aint’ spelt that weigh,

He doesn’t even get into the failure modes-- and there were lots of failure modes.  A buddy had one in a Passat Wagon-- and it ate the oil pump inside of 60K miles.  VERY expensive fix, and the pump had to come from Germany.

You were just accellerating to the closing summary too fast...

And, from the forever-banned-to-greys...

Sweet Hey-Suze, take ALL the stars.  Wow.

It’s a VERY disappointing car.  Panamera Sport Whatever and E63 consistently get better reviews.

The reviews are NOT encouraging.  This is the Z8 equivalent in long-roof... the car that was no where near as good as it was supposed to be.

Imagine trying to rock yourself out of a muddy bog or ditch? Electric “should” be good at that— but this is hopeless, absolutely hopeless.

Can you imagine rocking it out of a snowdrift or soft sand on the edge of a road?

It is worth noting how much LARGER and well-labeled the “Synch Your Phone on Bluetooth ICON” is relative to the tiny “here’s how you select your directional mode of travel” icon.

It’s still hard to ignore (and with your engineering degree you should appreciate this) that Musk has never taken a single “engineering” class in his life and never was a line engineer anywhere, on anything.

And clogging the car pool lanes with single-occupant dickheads

This is often over-looked. In classic VC-Robber Baron fashion Musk got the company and vision from Martin and yet has the gall to call himself “a founder”. Wow.

Read the history of the first Space-X launches-- those poor ACTUAL rocket scientists were praying Musk stayed the hell away from the actual work.

He raised a lot of money.

So did Justine-- and she has the receipts to prove it.

“Or a Denver Boot...”
