Well, supporters are so rabidly anti-immigration that they are willing to burn their whole economy down to keep out the dark-skinned. Your definition of “racist” may vary, of course.

ProJared: “I can show one person lied yet all I can claim is that the other must be a liar because they have a mental illness and as we all know all people with mental illnesses are liars 100% of the time and it’s fine for me (a married man) to request nudes from fans online as I was creating a “welcoming environment”…
To all the folks whining about how long this individual took to report her assault, or doing that whilst cautioning the rest of us to “wait for more facts to come out”:
I believe her. And you should, too. If your response to this or any of the other allegations is defensiveness or anger directed anywhere but at the perpetrators, you should fall in a hole and fucking stay there.
No one asked for Darksiders III. Well, we did. But the version we got sucks. Also, THQ Nordic held a AMA on 8chan. So I won’t even download this game.
Arkham Knight is way too old to be a Plus game. It came out June 23rd 2015. Like, who hasn’t somehow gotten a copy yet?
Ah, right..”censorship”...the cowards reasoning for accepting and brushing off hate speech.
Cool, that’s one less game I have to play.
A) This is an excellent article, and really cool to see how gaming interacts with larger social issues.
B) The way the protestors have disrupted the Dota 2 tournament is really fucking awesome and I hope it continues.
Well, I think that’s exactly it. They want that sort of initial rush of “Oh militias, civil unrest, that’s topical” but they don’t want to back it up with a perspective or sense of grounding that could even alienate a single potential buyer.
This sounds like a very longwinded version of the “both sides” false equivalency bullshit.
“He said he’d attended Trump’s inauguration in early 2017 as part of a research trip for The Division series and that, while “I thought I was going to get along with the anti-Trump people a bit more, well, I didn’t because I saw extremes on both ends that are dangerous.””
If you’re mad about this you are a garbage human being. Especially in a game already loaded with product placement and egregious microtransactions.
What’s the point of getting into all the “wrongs” of Epic Games or EGS when at a mere whisper of either people like you leap at the opportunity to list them out? Stay bent
Dude.... This article wasn’t even about Epic man. It was about the indie studio and how they have been harassed to no end for simply doing the smart choice of taking an exclusivity deal that’s beneficial for them. It’s easy to talk about integrity and not selling out, but making games is fucking hard man.
I haven’t played it in a long while but I don’t think it’s fair to say it had a fall from grace, more just the market became more varied and there are now games for all manner of players. Yes it’s no longer drawing around 1.5m players a day at its peak but that was never going to last, yet it’s still the most popular…
“PAX is hugely successful - why the hell would they feel the need to risk scandal and bad press to catfish random assholes for a tiny amount of money?”
Seriously, they get enough scandal and controversy when Jerry does a Q&A. They don’t need help with that.
Uhh... they weren’t “offered the slot”, and they didn’t “agree to it”. That’s not how panels normally work at conventions.
Yes, PAX needs these jabronis to advertise their show for them. Seems legit.

No one is owed a spot on anyone else’s platform. If the PA guys don’t like their politics (and good for them if they don’t, honestly) then they don’t have to put them on stage.
