Do the quest, it branches out to more Silver Shroud quests. *spoiler* You become the silver shroud and hunt down baddies.

Actually it was plenty engaging since it was a part of the biggest twist in the game and includes the death of a well-liked character at the time. This happens in the end of the first mission, without the player knowing a thing about the story.
