5 years in a console development cycle is not that long way out. Actually any tech hardware takes years to develop. It took 5 years to develop the PS3.

The fan on top makes it easier for air flow since hotter air naturally rises. It's one of the reasons the Series X is smaller than the PS5 even though it's stronger. They chose function over form.

No. They're not planning an external disc drive. It would have been part of the leaks.

God no. Depending on whoever is in charge of Microsoft Game Studios at the time, they do stupid shit. Remember Dan Mattrick. Remember TV TV TV. He sold off or closed down all of Microsoft game studios that didn’t have to do with Kinect, Halo, Gears and Forza. Cause you know, profits. That’s why Xbox One had no good

I think they’re skipping Portrait of Ruin since Bloodlines was the direct sequel (plus they would have to explain the Morris bloodline and Bram Stoker’s Dracula) and they’re using Elizabeth Bathory as the main villain for Nocturne.

Seems strange that other big gaming conventions like Gamescom and TGS, have had in person events but e3 can't. Is the ESA charging too much?

Has more to do with Memory. PC version is using Main memory to keep track of everything, while VRAM is just for graphical effects. Consoles (and handheld PCs) have to share the limited RAM they have. With the SS, they're limited to 8GB@ 224 GB/s for everything. That's why split screen couldn't work on the SS.

To be fair, it’s been in early access for the PC for 3 years. So the first act was fine. Supposedly, the final act is a buggy mess on the PC

Well the reviewer said he was playing in Performance mode rather than Graphics mode. Though it’s a turn based game, I would rather want better graphics. 30 fps is fine for slower paced and turned based games, 60 fps for everything else and 120 fps for competitive multiplayer. At least that’s my belief.

It probably has to do with Memory issues. Which would be the biggest issue with consoles of this generation. That was the smallest spec bump from the PS4/XBOne. It’s also the smallest jump for RAM ever. On average each game generation jumps 8 times the amount of RAM. This Generation was just 2 times.

Mac version is coming out the same time as the PS5 version.

“Also, the entire opening premise, an elite squad of bearers operating behind enemy lines without any supervision was something the setting absolutely failed to support as making sense.”

Exactly why I haven't bought a Bethesda game at launch since Fallout 3. Usually wait for the first big sale to buy because by than there would be at least 1 major patch that would fix most major bugs. Not all, a Bethesda game with no bugs is impossible

I thought the greatest sin was Scott using his underage girlfriend to help hook-up with a new girl. That was baffling to me. He has a girlfriend, likes a new girl, doesn't break up with his ex and she helps him hookup with said new girl and she's 16.

If I remember correctly the 360 would naturally make things darker. It was great for all the brown wasteland games they had during that era. But for dark games it made it hard to see and I would have to turned up the brightness on my TV and make everything else look worse. Sadly those were the main colors used during

This is why Sony can’t re-released wipeout. Licensing issues with the music. A ton of games from the PS1 era cannot be released because of license music unless the contracts were made for life.

Sony had bought Psygnosis in 1994 but they already had publishing agreements with Sega and Nintendo at that time. It's like how Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo were PS5 exclusives even though Bethesda had already been owned by Microsoft for a year by the time of their release.

Yes. Sony bought Psygnosis back in 1994. But they already had agreements with Sega and Nintendo when Sony bought them. Psygnosis was basically the reason the PS1 was easy to develop for, they looked at the PS1's devkit and hired SN systems to make a new devkit for them, which became the defacto PS1 dev kit.

It could be due to licensing issues. Since the game is known for it’s music which was licensed from popular techno musicians at the time which had probably expired. Sony would have to re-license that music and it’s probably too expensive unless they do a full on remake like Tony Hawk 1&2.
