Microsoft hasn’t done a good job with their acquisitions sadly. Halo was there best, but once they wrenched it away from Bungie, it did not turn out so well.

I’m surprised Forspoken doesn’t require an NvMe drive as a minimum since it’s the first game to be released that uses DirectStorage. Maybe if you use an NvMe you can have less main RAM, since one of the benefits of DirectStorage is that it sends textures directly to the GPU/VRAM for decompression.
Yeah. Johnny Walker doesn't really fact check. I replied to an article about the MSX with facts about it and he double down on what he said even though it was factually wrong. I think he just writes articles to get alot replies.
Sara's death is the most important narrative decision, it explains why Joel is the way he is.
As a gamer who spent $80 ($155 in 2023 monies) on Chrono Trigger in 1995. Please no. Games are way more expensive to make, even remakes are way more expensive to make. It’s not a remaster, it was a full on remake. The price of everything has gone up on everything except gaming.
Hideo Kojima has made a successful career out of it 🤣
Umm.. Ellie isn't introduced with Tess. I think they're confusing Tess with Marlene. Hollywood Reporter would get that wrong but Kotaku???
I’m stating facts and my opinion. Unlike you and others I’m not pretending I represent others. There’s seems to be many accusations from other replies where their replies represent the “majority” or the “many”. In my post did not I even imply that I represent the view of others unlike you.
Not really since the 360, Microsoft has used proprietary storage mediums, while Sony since the PS3 (other than the Vita) had used open standards.
Did you say Xbox will out sell everything else again?? You know that Xbox has never been the top selling console of any generation. Even it’s most successful console, the 360, was last place. It’s not due to games or prices. It’s due to Microsoft have terrible marketing outside of English speaking countries. It's like…
I agree with Capcom on this one. Since they were ripping assets from Capcom games rather than creating their own assets.
Xbox Series S is not a minor downgrade. It’s also missing a disc drive so can only get sales on the Xbox store. While it has a 512 GB SSD, only 364GB is available. To increase storage for Xbox Series games, it costs $220 just for 1TB.
Blame Enix they milk their cashcows. Remember Square never released a sequel to a FF game until they merged with Enix. Post Enix merger everything had to be related to FF just like how Enix milks DQ.
My guess is Sony basically funded the game. Kinda like MGS4, just that now even Sony is releasing their own games on PC.
Yeah the issue is actually Windows 10/11, DirectX 12 Ultimate and how poorly optimize they are.
The SSD. It’s constantly streaming in new data. One of the benefits of a fast SSD tightly coupled with the RAM is lower RAM usage.
My guess is because the game is constantly streaming in new data. This is fine on the PS5 because of it’s SSD.
That was basically all From Software games reviews before Demon Souls. Most From Software games only appealed to Japanese hardcore gamers. King's Field, the spiritual ancestor to the Souls series, got similar reviews at that time.
Yeah and the beginning of the PS360 era EA was willing to take risks that's why they were willing to develop games like Mirror's Edge and Dead Space. I think it was after the failure of one these "risks" (Dante's Inferno) that EA took the Activision model and just relied on established IPs. EA was hyping up Dante's…
This game is made by a completely new dev studio. If people didn't buy the game at full price the publisher won't give bonuses to the devs, which will cause the developer to shut down and make the publisher choose only safe established IPs.
