If I recall color wasn't around back then, it was all plain black/white text. If you want to do a real 80's interface shouldn't it be small green text?

Real estate IMO has some quirkly laws. In Georgia it's technically illegal to post square footage since there are no standards. I have no idea how that makes any sense, from Wall A to Wall B is 10 feet and from Wall C to Wall D is 10 feet = 100 sq ft. Yes I know not every room is a perfect square with all the angles

I was wondering if that was a shipping container yard.

Oh ok that makes more sense from a real estate standpoint. You rarely see a house for sale that includes the bedrooms in the basement as a selling point, they typically state "finished basement with media room, kitchen, yada yada yada.

An interview is a sales pitch, you have to sell yourself to a company. After being laid off 3 times in the span of 15? months I became quite the expert in 2006-2007. I know 2 of the last 4 jobs I've gotten have been due to my sales pitch during the interview process.

Where do you live? Some states have completely underground basements so you're saying people in the Midwest don't have real bedrooms in their basements?

I hope you are not serious.

It still grosses me out to this day she married someone who was such a close family friend, that he was in the hospital when she was born. I wonder if she called him "uncle" like all my friends kids do?

Are you seeing major bands or hopefulls? Some venues have set regulations but let non pro style camera. Some artists ban them from what I hear is so they can sell professional photos. But it's not hard to sneak a compact camera in anyway.

Do iphones have a concert setting for video? It cuts out the distortion like you have in that video.

You obviously are not a fan of struggling artists. With smaller shows you tend to get to know other fans and meet up with them at concerts. And when you can't make be there, one of your friends will give you a concert call. You never talk to the person, just hold up the phone for them to hear. Either they let it

You know they've got this new invention called a step ladder. I keep mine in my laundry closet in the few inches between the washer and dryer.

Taco Mac is a chain of sports bars that typically sever 100+ drafts plus several hundred different types of bottled beer.

The human factor is often the weakest link, as mentioned by Bad Kev thumb drives can be used to get a virus on a private network.

I've been looking into extenals but that is still $130ish for 3TB when a good deal comes along. The NAS I want is only $200 and has 2 drive bays. I am hoping to spend $90ish for 3TB for my pictures and movie "backups."

I did IT work for a county and part of it was 911. Trust me, I heard my fair share of stupid calls.

That's not an 911 operator's job. What if unknowingly one of them had a gun or knife? Their job is to log the call and let the police take of the rest.

+1 At first I was very hesitant but I can't imagine having to deal with hair on my head ever again.

You know what happens when you ASSume don't you? I don't smoke, never have, never will.

I was wondering why that scene looked familiar. I thought it was a mobster thing like Godfellas or even from Swingers.
