Well. Lockheed actually says that they think they have figured it out and that they can have a test reactor running in a year or so. Production reactors would be about 10 years out and last time I checked fusion power was always about 10 years away…

If they haven't demonstrated a prototype and are still five years from said prototype, they haven't cracked it yet. Call me when there's a working prototype.

I know Lincoln is kind of low-hanging fruit these days, but nobody wants to see this storied American brand fail, and with the right amount of investment and smart use of Ford's existing tech, they may just be able to pull it off. I hope they do.
