When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like Oppression.

Same, my dad drank good beer and I frequently drink stuff he likes. Growing up in the Northwest, He was a big fan of red hook and Stone breweries. I’ll happily drink those to this day.
I also think it’s funny that boomers are trying to “own” millenials in a social media/meme beef. Like bro, you merely adopted the internet, we were born in it, molded by it. You think your snapback game is better than a 29 year old latina from the Bronx? thank u, next.
They love being able to say “see, I’m not racist, I have a black!”
The guy at my local craft beer shop described the Hemperor as smelling like a Phish concert, and suggested not drinking it around a cop.
I’ve repeat bought beers I didn’t like the first time more times than I can count.
The point was that this is a modern shift. For decades you were a miller, bud, or coors guys, just like many truck drivers are Chevy, Ford, or Dodge guys, and most cigarette smokers buy the same brand every time. You drank your brand, and that was that.
Maybe in your area, here in MN there are a crapload, and Hazy New England style IPAs are a major trend.
I’ve had mixed experiences with modist, but their false pattern and dreamyard I’ve never been disappointed with.
i’ve found that true for myself as well. As the local brewery scene in the twin cities Mn is exploding, there are more and more excellent local options.
That really gets my oat.
please delete your post.
And vice versa. I’ve been a server before, we all knew “those” customers, and if we had a choice actively tried not to get sat with them. “aw fuck, I got sat with old jim... here comes the 15 refills of his goddamn soda and a fake 5 dollar bible tip.”
I’ve always tipped well, but I read something somewhere about how little it actually takes to be a really good tipper.
anecdotal, but when my moms 35 year old kitchenaid died, my dad bought her the upgraded Pro version, she wishes she had the flip top version.
agreed. It’s like the “Let’s spend 2$ on ice cream bill.” But requiring bears to purchase handguns gets slipped in somewhere.
I also like the ones that are like “Man tries to rob gun store. Gets shot.”
CNN’s was something like “Man tries to kidnap woman from Karate studio. Exactly what you think happened next.”
I think if you are wearing a Karategi and beat a man down for trying to kidnap a woman, you should get an automatic black belt.
Hm little timmy, do you want to go to the karate school with the better yelp reviews, or the one where the teacher beat a man half to death for trying to kidnap a woman?
