Right around the time gawker went down. With the fall of gawker, giz became a strange gawker hybrid site flooded with just as much sensationalist opinion pieces as tech pieces.
Don’t know, but I imagine that if there was any enforcing/investigating going on its not being done by your local police department. In fact, quick google of “Drone” and “Investigation” shows several FAA investigations.
So, based on your responses, you were concerned that faa.gov was being used as some sort of front for stealing credit card information?
How would the costs be nil? There are people that run the program, people that maintain the site, people that answer public questions, people that developed the registration cost in the first place. You may not like the fact that FAA has to do all this, they might not like doing it either, but that’s not how…
I mean I get that people don’t like paying the government but we’re talking about a $5 fee. Is it that hard to believe that an agency tasked with regulating an entirely new industry is going to run into some significant costs?
Finally, 10 years later, the MS Courior may be nearly upon us

Just like Moviepass, this is an amazing deal in metro markets. Here in SF, at my closest theater, an IMAX movie is $22 and IMAX 3D $25, most of the 2D movies are $17.
I think that we might be onto something here, Dominoes if your listening let get it done!
In SF there are a few different fire fighting systems for both redundancy and because some ate high pressure/low pressure. You can distinguish each by the color of the hydrant. Copy/paste from Quora
No, but a more proper anaolgy would be if someone offered to pay for your entire new roof in exchange for putting their logo on it. I would 100% take that deal every time it was offered.
Getaround has been live in SF for at least a few years now.... Is this a paid advertisement?
So I’m guessing you’ve not watched many NBA games then?
Strange to see someone using the middle gear lever in a DSG equipped car... that’s what the paddle shifters are for!
Youre right that activation commands (ie. ok Google, Alexa, etc) look for a particular audio signature but you’re wrong saying that computers aren’t capable of understanding words in context. The new generation of machine learning based voice recognition platforms are as capable as they are vs previous systems…
No, this is the real world, accidents happen and will continue to happen.
