I think that you can come up with a lot better source than an editorial from USA Today that's 10 years old. Here's one: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/310515/price-gun-control-veronique-de-rugy

Supreme Court also at one time thought "Separate but Equal" was acceptable... The 2010 decision was 5-4, I would not be surprised to see that interpretation "reevaluated" within in the next 10 years... especially if Obama gets to appoint a new Justice (Rumor has it that Kamala Harris is on the short list... be

I don't agree with the Supreme Courts decision, Justice Breyer is a family friend and I told him as much last time he was here in SF... Lets just say that he agrees with me.

Are you the member of a well regulated militia? Do you know anybody that is? Then stop bastardizing the second amendment...

I live in the Marina/Pac Heights, parking isn't much better, hence the $350/month in parking, haha.

Insurance probably isn't an issue as its under his parents name and they are listed as the primary driver. To do anything else would be foolish...

As a car enthusiast, I agree with you.

Lincoln Continental

Yea, parking is a premium in SF... Most can get away without a parking spot, but I am a enthusiast and need to have a car!

Interesting, in the US, it is expected to have 20% down as a minimum (not required, but expected). But didn't you just take over the mortgage from you parents?

This is my logic, the house next to me is on the market for $28 Million, I don't think that I will ever be able to afford a house in that range, so while I am still young and saving for a house, why not splurge a little bit! Might be my only chance to wake up to these views everyday!

The problem with buying is that there is so much demand here that you need a sizable down payment just to get your foot in the door. I tried to get a 600K 1 bed room condo, but I only had 35% as a down payment, and I've been outbid on the last 4 units that I have put in offers.

I have a feeling that mass exodus from CA to Texas (and others) will continue... Not going to get too political here, but I think you all need to hope that TX state politics are NEVER akin to CA state politics, haha.

There is a difference between a great place to live and the best place to live, not going to admonish anyone... but the people that live here pay the extra money because they believe that this is the BEST place to be, not because we think that there are no alternatives.

I'd love to have a garage, I'm luck in that both my parents have homes in the City, so when I work on my car I have a place to do so.

Man I wish I could get San Diego prices, me and some buddies had a PERFECT place in Mission Beach, right off Mission blvd, half a block to the ocean and two blocks to the bay. I paid $800/month for my own room and bathroom...

Haha, I grew up in the Sunset, I would never move back to the foggy shithole that is the western part of the city even if rent was free.

I think that you are paying too much, I have a rental home in Freemont, 1800 sq ft 3bd rms w/pool and I charge $2100 per month...

Haha, that's only about $100 more than I pay for my parking spot in SF
