I live in a $3000 month ($2650 Rent, $350 parking spot) 450 sq ft one bedroom in SF, and really its not that bad... and I work from home! I trade the space for this view.

None of these will be close to $1000, most other sources are saying closer to $2000 (notice the "starting at" in the article, haha). That being said, I pay close to $3000 a month for a one bed room and would really consider one of these @ $1,800... if it comes with a parking spot!

San Francisco has incredibly powerful rent controls... I live in a rent controlled building, on a month-to-month contract, try finding that in NYC.

As much as I hate to admit it yes... I have done a lot of work from bed. But to my credit I do have an adjustable tempurpedic bed, which is loads more comfortable than my office chair! It also has a massage feature...
