The original story sounds like their server was shitty at their job and probably should have gotten a food service job more suited to them. Like McDonalds. Even a decent server doesnt allow enough dirty plates to accumulate on a table that takes more than one trip to clear it.

I worked food service for 15 years. Only three places I worked at had bussers. The last place I worked at which was an upscale pub in "the rich part of town" bussed their own plates. Furthermore this situation she decribed would have never been allowed to happen.
