@TheOtherHalf: Ditto. They advertise registering your own .to domain on the site, but that still doesn't explain a "to." domain!

@brianary: Can I get this post framed for the wall of my office?

You can also SHIFT-right-click directly on the taskbar button to get the standard context-menu for shortcuts.

@Yarrr: Or Cashboard!

I'd already noticed that mousewheel scrolling in Firefox 3.6 by default covers more vertical pixels per wheel "notch" than in 3.5... very similar to how scrolling in Chrome feels, actually. Still getting used to it, but it's a good change methinks.

@Red_Flag: If you're going to be sneaky like that, however, at least do the guy(s)/gal(s)/site a favor and click on the ad once. :p

Is it just me, or is the only thing on the monitor stand a green candle? :-/

@deanes: I bought an el cheapo model a few winters back, and the fan started rattling and then died a few months later. Then I did a bit of research and bought a Morphy Richards ceramic space heater. Not only does it seem to put out 50% more heat per watt, but the fan is much quieter, and is still running just fine, 2

uTorrent, Dropbox, Xmarks (for IE) (do those 2 count?), Crysis... oh, wait.

Am I the only one who glanced at the title and saw, "Make Some Hasty Tomato Marinade"? :p

I have a routine??

I find it very unprofessional when I see promotional material for a company that lists the URL of their site as a domain of its own (www.companyname.com), and an @hotmail.com/@gmail.com/@yahoo.com contact address.

@ploopsy: Actually, having tabs above all the page-specific stuff, such as the address bar and forward & back buttons makes a lot of sense as far as logical-visual organization. What doesn't make sense is when the bookmarks bar is also "contained" in the tabs.

@kolobear: Amen!!!!!!!! (I'm also a developer)

Meh... I mean, I'm happy for them and all; I've been looking forward to Thunderbird getting tabs ever since I saw it in Yahoo's "new" mail webapp. But personally, I'd get much more mileage in my job out of the ability to sync the entire Internet to my local computer for offline use. Website dev is no fun offline. :p

@MrMusic: Search for misspelled, pseudo 1337-speak pharmaceutical words much? ;)

@Apeiron242: Indeed. I find it fascinating how such wanton disregard for capitalization rules actually makes the text harder to read and more difficult to understand.

@pschroeter: Indeed... all sorts of bug reports in the comments of that Texter article, and a whole lotta nuthin being done about it. :p

Gridmove is awesome. You guys told me about it years ago, and it's everything I was looking for for my 24-incher. :)
