I find it weird when people don’t have a dedicated set of winter wheels.  People who think their AWD is fine and don’t buy winter tires in winter climates are just wrong.  So we don’t need to talk about them.  Once they have the tires though…an extra set of wheels can be cheap. Multiple makers make “winter wheels”…

If you buy your winter wheel and tire package from Belle Tire they will store them free of charge for you in the summer (and your summers in the winter).  At least, they offered that a few years ago, not sure if they still are.

Well, California is already going after big rigs, they are seeking an EPA waiver to implement a ban on medium and heavy-duty diesels by 2036, They better get it by Jan, 19, 2025, or all bets are off. It appears this ban would also require an EPA waiver, so it may be a moot point.

It’s an outrage! there is nothing on earth that improves the great outdoors like the clouds of diesel exhaust pouring from a slow moving, stuck in traffic RV as it ponderously blocks traffic and slowly crawls ahead in an endless ant-column of vehicles all wanting to see the glory of our state and national park system.
