I really, really enjoy reading your articles Doug. Most entertaining articles on jalop to read.

I find myself more than I should saying "Man, you don't need new shoes, they'll last till your next check, even if they have holes in them, smell like dead fish and are worn past the limit. I NEED that new camshaft instead!"

I wholeheartedly agree with #7. Really any R badged volvo is a surprise in speed. I miss my 850 R

when I was 16 my dad took me out in the woods on a jeep trip in his 98 Wrangler 4.0. Tough car to learn stick on with the clutch having a very high grab point and having to put a lot of physical effort into shifting and the clutch, but if I could drive this, he told me, i could drive stick on near anything.

71 Dart with a supercharged and built 360 magnum under the hood. Thing was scarry fast!

Any Volvo R. Lots of turbo and torque, and later models had AWD. I had an 850 R that was slightly modded and it was a friggin beast. I remember roasting a newer Camaro SS from a roll, and the dude looked like he was about to cry and wouldn't make eye contact with me at the next light. Who knew a boxy grocery

I just don't get why people don't care. And this is exactly what I hate about the American car buying public. You know why good cars took so long to get here or when they do get watered down for our market? We buy shitty cars. we buy boring cars, we buy whatever is cheap. Wal-Mart might as well sell cheap Chinese

Can someone remind me why stupidly stanced cars are cool? this proves all the more that they are completely useless.

That was cool.

There is a god!

Not only do I drink RedBull because it's the nectar of the gods, but why wouldn't you when the ffinance sweet stuff like people jumping out of weather balloons at 150,000 feet, or Formula 1 tech, or crazy feats of aerobatics, space exploration and other cool shit! Does monster do this? No. Does NOS, no.

Keep up the

and this is 1209381092830912083012 times cooler than the new one.

I guess people have more trust in GM than I do, or just don't care and took a sweetheart deal.

I said no to GM years ago after owning 2. Worst cars ever.

And we spend how many billions on new fighterjets and tanks we don't need.

I'm a man, I drive a RAM! I want a hemi, not some stinkin Obama-drive system in my car, hippies and girls can keep that liberal hybrid bull crap! DERP!

This is my educated guess as to why RAM did not make plug in hybrid trucks.

Sad the LFA and the old scoob STI's didn't make the list. I like that v10 whale and that boxer rumble.

The fact that cars are apparently supposed to have an even number of cyl's.

I used to have a Volvo 850R and the look on every store workers face when you went to do plugs and asked for 5, since you know, its a 5 cyl. I had one even call me a dumb and he asked why I wouldn't change all 6 plugs. I shook my head, took

I wish car companies would let you do this with their models or had similar programs. What if BMW had a program to restore E30's, or Volvo a program to restore 240's, Chevy to do old Corvettes? etc. Sure they would be pricy, but for some, you're too attached to your car to want to let it go. I'd rather drop money

Volvo owners have always been super nice and friendly bunch. Kinda wierd, but we all are, we like Volvo's after all./

headlights. They vary widely from car to car I've found.
