Like I said, its all a matter of perspective. If Nintendo had 3D on their console and Sony added it to their handheld, people would flip shit and say that Sony always steals everything- of course Nintendo is a lot more innovative in practice, but theyve hardly been the first to do anything.

Oh, thats true. Sadly Kotaku isn't the New Yorker of video games journalism, so I guess thats just an attempt to get people to read an article they might not have read otherwise :/

Like 3D? Lol.

I dont think this article is as negative as you think it is, though the comments certainly are.

I totally disagree with you on Ponyo, and not just because I liked it, but because it set its sights on something that just might not have appealed to you.

My brother is buying me Catherine for my birthday, which is the 29th.

Think of it as a 3D Streets of Rage, which is essentially what it is. The game is meant to poke fun at itself, while still having a similar style / learning curve

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

Its from Spirit Tracks on the DS- I havent played it so I cant explain it either :/

Rotten Tomatoes has a much better idea- did a reviewer like or dislike what they just sat through? An overall percentage of thumbs up versus thumbs down gives you the basic idea whether its good or not, and then you can read the review

Right, it would be silly if literally every game this gen was a shooter. But its hard to ignore that the vast majority of AAA games involve some kind of firing mechanism.
