3 spokes are nearly impossible to pull off. Saab executed them, GMC does not. The designer at GMC that has been trying to 3 spokes for the past 15 years needs to give it up.

I’ll concede that cheap clothing, and the vast majority of our consumer goods, are made overseas. When gas prices adjust back to normal these high margin vehicles built in the US will tank. I don’t see a reason that Ford can’t be both a global brand and build cars in America, or at least not continue exporting

That’s just a terrible idea, Gordon Gekko.

Because those countries aren’t shutting down American production to move the jobs out of the country. On the contrary, most of them build some of their lineup here in the States.

Click it off for this one, it’s worth a read.

While we would all rather not have a labor intensive or factory job, to say Americans don’t want (implying we got what we asked for) is disingenuous. You mean that the day their factories closed all the laid off employees were glad they didn’t have to keep doing those jobs? That didn’t seem to be the case in

I used to hate on Vettes for similar biases you mentioned about Porsches. As a valet I got to drive (responsibly) all of the cars you mentioned. I came abandon my preconceptions about the car and its ower and now love Corvettes. I grew to favor domestic brands and still would rather have a Vette than 911, but belive

Good point with the Vette. In traffic, sport cars that are wide and low really stand out compared to normal cars and trucks. I could be two block behind an Aston and notice it. There’s a few years old Viper that’s been driving around my decidedly exotic free town and it is very noticeable.

All those VW buyers sure are screwing us over, though.

I want some crust on the outside of the meatballs

The popcorn shop in O’Hare is great. Nuts on Main?

My butter crock kept my butter out of sight/out of mind and by the time I’d open it, it would be moldy. It makes a cute vase now.

I’m willing to accept some shrinkage in my butter inventory to have it soft and ready to spread at all times.

I never dug the Super Duty because of how they were a half size bigger than the F 150. The mini semi theme with Kenworth door handles were kinda overcompensating.

IMO it looks like a caricature of a truck or a Chinese knock off of the F 150 that would have a 4 cyl.

First the murderer Terrain now this. GM is giving buyers the used rental car on rims look straight from the factory. Someone tell them this demographic does not buy new cars.

I think ‘uncut’ describes the Toyota front ends. That’s what I called a co workers’ new 4Runner.

I think it’s fully mainstream and stereotypes are outdated.

If there’s a problem with this one, it’s those wheels. Is Pep Boys their new supplier?

Those BMW short films with Clive Owen were so cool. I don’t see how he wasn’t courted to be James Bond.
