I watched part of this race and thought it was a neat idea to hold a dirt race indoors. Unfortunately there were never ending caution flags and the event was stopped at one point because of engine fumes. But with some improvement I could imagine a winter race series held at indoor venues across the country.

I nominate the Nissan GT-R Pikes Peak car

Yer doin’ it rite

Well guess I gotta get rid of my food truck business since my trucks need to DRIVE out to their locations of business and I use my personal vehicle to restock them with supplies throughout the day. I can’t exactly hitch a flatbed onto the back of our light rail or transit buses to get my food trucks or food supplies

This car is already mad it wont be as popular as the MX-5 Cup car

Not necessarily IndyCar but a fan of the event as it is. There’s plenty to watch with World Challenge, IMSA, Super Trucks, free concerts, drift competition and car show. You can get a 3 day ticket for less than $90. Cant see it having the same atmosphere and affordability if Bernie is running the show.

Were quite happy with out Grand Prix the way it is thank you

So this with a canopy, fenders, and a diesel engine is now racing at LeMans

I’m sure Pilgrim will pick up an IMSA ride with no issue atleast for the NAEC. I wonder who GM is gonna stick in the 2nd car. Matt Bell or Lawson Aschenbach perhaps?

Well apart from the Sprint Cup championship, Kyle Busch’s team won the drivers and owners Truck series championship so he took home plenty of hardware for this season.

I love that Subaru has stuck with stage rally here in the US. I would love to see other high caliber teams come challenge them consistently in Rally America. They certainly have their hands full in GRC with competition and development.

How do the NR4 Group N cars stack up versus the Open/Super Production class Subarus running in Rally America?

Oh boy what a fracas

Yup I went to a NHRA event this year and had the same reaction. I was happily watching the Pro Stock cars run qualifying when suddenly the Top Fuel cars came out and OH MY GOD THAT WAS SOO LOUD WTF THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe thats Pat Richard’s old Subaru Team Canada car. If that’s the case then this car has seen its fair of crashes and rolls. Great to see the car still in competition hope they can get her all patched up and back on the road!

Wow that’s pretty shocking. I know vintage racing is not as high profile as F1 or WEC but still something worth advertising to potential paying spectators.

Hopefully their Trans Am race this weekend goes well......

“Pica guey....” lol

This was the concept that Callaway drew up when developing this car. The finished product came out different and better looking in my opinion.

I think theres a Top Gear segment where Jeremy Clarkson talks about how the US governments biggest headache in the Afghanistan was always a couple of insurgents in an old Toyota Hilux. One of the episodes featuring the old indestructable Hilux.
