Aw, his kids are so adorable. My stupid kids are so frickin’ ugly. Ugh.

Pete Carroll can’t resist a good inside job.

5. Barstool lives rent free in Deadspin’s head.

Might as well preempt these before the Stoolie brigade descends upon this article.

My Hot Taek?

Unfortunately you were 10 minutes late on this joke....

Can’t wait to hear all the hot takes from the yinzers about how the Steelers are doing the right thing by not giving Bell a big contract that he has earned while also lambasting Pirates ownership for being cheap (they are).

They tied the Browns.

They are 33-6-1 against Cleveland since the Browns came back into the league, including 10-3-1 in Cleveland in the Roethlisberger era. If you think one decent game from James Conner “took away” Bell’s leverage, you don’t watch enough football.

$7,699,761

I just really hope the steelers lose the next two games so I get to watch them still not pay Bell like how the texans didn’t sign Kaep last year when Watson went down and proved that some things are more important than winning

I bet the Steelers figure out a new way to screw him when he shows up before Week 10. Can they revoke their offer right before he shows up? Leave him unemployed and make his future uncertain. I look forward to making fun of them for whatever they do at that time.

In case I was confused about which side to take on this thing, I’m glad a Pouncey showed up to clarify that I should be supporting Bell unconditionally.

just maybe instead of being the “evil” org deadspin loves to spin on ownerships, the steelers dont want to fill their salary cap up with a RB who already has a lot of wear and tear

There’s nothing in the CBA that says the player has to sign the franchise tender though. They are absolutely free to hold out. Bell is operating entirely in the bounds of the CBA as well.

Bell 100% deserves to get his money and I fully support him doing what he needs to do to get paid in a system that has been built to not only be unfair to its workers but it’s surrounded by a culture that will treat fair labor with hostility.

Ask not for whom the Bell toils, Steelers; it’s not for thee.

Ramon Foster on Bell turning down nearly $1M a week to not be here: “In the ultimate team sport we’ve created a league of individuals.”

Fuck Art Rooney II and the Steelers. Fuck Pouncey and his brother for supporting Aaron Hernandez. Get yours Le’Veon.

David DeCastro wasn’t happy with Le’Veon Bell’s no-show: “We all thought he’d be here today. He makes us all kind of look stupid a little bit.”

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHETHER THIS IS SATIRE OR NOT IT IS WAY TOO SUBTLE I ONLY UNDERSTAND SATIRE WHEN BENNY HILL DOES IT WHAARGARBL
