They looked at Americans and Canadians as well. Somehow she fit the bill. I'm willing to wait and see. I do think she's got some chemistry with Rankin at the very least.

Yeah, but I'll bet his eyebrows said it!

I agree there have been a LOT of poor editing choices in my opinion (Dougal's endless hissy fit after his wife dies in season 1? What an epic waste of time).

He always is, they should listen to him more often. "Wine is for drinking, NOT for selling!"

I came across an interview with Maril Davis last night that for the life of me I cannot find this morning but her reply to one question crystallized why those of us who are crying out for more intimacy and time with the relationship are probably never going to get it. The question was something like, "How do you

Could someone please explain to me why you hate watch a show? I'm not trying to be mean or sarcastic, I really want to know why you invest your time and emotions into something that does not bring any enjoyment. There seems to be a difference between those that watch and disagree or quibble with choices and those

Let's not let Claire off the hook here either. She's not the cuddliest of mothers. Not too surprising her daughter is a bit prickly. That combined with a genetic tendency from both sides for shooting one's mouth off. She was much more loving and cuddly with Fergus, but I think her bargain with Frank and the loss

It was not her accent that bothered me at all, it was her attitude. But she was playing Bree who is quite a grating character. I found her hard to love in the books most of the time. A comment I saw somewhere once said "All the kids that grow up with Jamie as a father figure are well behaved people, the two that

That does follow the book. After Alex and Mary's marriage he is not heard from again until the next book.

Unfortunately, or fortunately we'll see very little of Brianna next season, more of her in season 4. I too think she'll grow into it.

Must be my terrible hearing, I heard 1,000 every time I listened.

In the book it was, which I always thought was a ridiculously high sum for the time.

I was mentioned in the theives hole the 2nd night. Geillis told Claire she squirreled away 1000 pounds.

Well, but I think they covered that in Season 1 when Claire threatened the Duke in Ep 9 asking how much money Dougal gave him for the Jacobite cause. I always took that to be the money they raised in "Rent" and Geillis' money. I don't remember it being called out specifically in the book…was it?

They intentionally avoided a Bahstan accent as it is so tricky and would easily be mocked. It wasn't essential for the character. She's got 2 Brits for parents and probably went to a private Catholic school.

Oops didn't mean to down vote you, was reaching for reply. She is a woman on a single minded mission and anyone in her way is toast.

So agree, thanks Kayla! Don't know where I'm going to go next season for a well thought out, considered, well written review. Those are few an far between.

However Brianna toned down from shrill to strident.

I think this ep was a good wrap to the season as the story has been adapted. It left a few interesting question marks on characters like Murtagh, Rupert and BJR to anticipate for next season. I liked watching the change come over Claire once she started talking about Jamie, she bloomed. Loved Roger, liked the
