As someone who grew up when it was impossible to moderate any kind of chat effectively I cannot believe how sensitive people are. People act like a game is unplayable if they might have to occasionally mute someone or play without using chat features when they are up against randoms.

I was on the fence about the general concept of Artifact from the get-go, but now I know for sure that it’s not for me. I can deal with buying a game, if beyond that it doesn’t paywall me to get to other base content (or to remain competitive in PVP). I can understand a paywall for content if the base game is free. I loved how you could switch to the top-down view in GTAIII still. Then again, they’ve gotten so good with verticality that it would be pretty damn hard to play from that perspective on the GTAV map.
