It may be that Merritt gives her the weakest songs to sing and my issue isn't with her voice. I do like "Sweet Lovin Man."

This show is fucking bonkers and something truly special.
Oh sorry. I didn't see that.
I wouldn't say every song has a great melody. Do Punk Love, Experimental Music Love or those one-joke songs even count though? They're pretty half-assed and seemed to be inserted just to pad up the album.
Now every time one of those songs come up, I'm going to be imagining a stern looking Merritt behind the studio glass.
The Book of Love, I Don't Believe in the Sun, I Don't Want to Get Over You are strong melodies imo
I find the female singer's voice grating. Am I alone in this? I think it's because I'm made aware of how overly twee some of the songs are. Merrit's voice tends to offsets that tweeness.
That's weird, man.
Seriously excited for this. Bong Joon-Ho is one of the best filmmakers working today. Any idea if this is going to be released to theaters as well?
It's a Bong Joon-Ho film. Even if it's not great, you can count on it being weird and interesting.
I hope his sister Flower Pawar hits it big too.
"I got my city doing front flips
When every father, mayor, rapper jump ship
I guess that's why they call it where I stay
Clean up the streets, so my daughter can have somewhere to play"
He raps. He sings. Sometimes he rap-sings. It's great.
"Coloring Book" is really starting to grow on me. So many of my favorite Chance songs are from there: Angels, Summer Friends, Same Drugs, Finish Line, Blessings (reprise).. Although not my favorite, the chorus to "No Problem" is stupidly catchy. I find myself playing it more than "Acid Rap" these days.

What's up to you too, Amigo.
Who's the Ringo?
The mere fact that he calls it that means he's not ready.
