Okay, now I’m worried that we’ll never know what this guy uses QTime for.

Actually, text mostly provides basic communication only - which is fine for most cases - but there are a lot of awkward situations caused by people getting the tone wrong. Emoji kind of tries to mimic body expressions and other stuff to fill that gap. It’s not 100% of a fix but it’s still better than video chat...

If you don’t mind rooting your device, EmojiSwitcher is a good option. I’m currently using Emoji One instead of android’s stock anyway.
