"Already, this introduces an inherent problem: By design, this premise means that Americans will always be the innocent victims in need of rescuing and foreigners will always be the evil villains, harming those who come to their country."

Just started watching episode 1, and @ 10 minutes in so far the show is correct about American citizens are pretty much on their own in countries such as Thailand. Also human sex trafficking is big business in countries like Mexico, Thailand etc. And if an American should be abducted the first thing that needs to

Not the UN. They were a fictional unit that worked for the ICC which was part of Interpol. FYI Crossing Lines was only cancelled in the US. If you have a good sat system you can still watch it they just completed season 4. Only two of the original cast remains Donald Sutherland and the computer guy.

Everyone has an opinion, and you know what they say about opinions they're like assholes everyone has one and they all stink. People you should at least watch the first episode and make up your own mind and not rely on the opinion of a reviewer who might be bias against this show hence the bad review.
