@DracoCross: Actually, no where in the original novel are his boots ever mentioned, to my knowledge.

@haxorknight: Well, the zombies and creepers sure as hell can tell you otherwise. :o

"For example, did you know that Black Ops supports split-screen online multiplayer?"

@develin: Eugh, and that'll be the day I successfully get Linux up and running on my iMac.

The first time I read the headline, I thought it was talking about SSB Brawl coming to the PS3.

@develin: Well, they don't have to use a the OSX App Store. It'll be an option up there with Steam and traditional download / disc based delivery systems. And it wont necessarily be a 30% cut of profits, either. That makes more sense at the small scale, when programs only cost around $1-15, but the desktop

@dowingba: It's spelt iPad, but pronounced Ickle Props.

@Shadowstep: Oh no no no. Fuck your TVtropes links. I have homework to do tonight, I wont allow myself to by tempted!

@develin: Yeah, Steam has helped flesh out the library a lot, but it's still not up to snuff with what the PC world has.

@chauncy that billups: That makes sense, considering that they'll probably be using bluescreens (the only reason I can think of that they'd use green is if the films are to be shot in some form of digital 3D).

@TeeJayDM: Absolutely nothing. Let's phone up ole' Georgie and make it happen.

They were obviously intended to be kittens of mass destruction.

@berkng: Actually, though it's an odd example, teaching a child a fake language alongside English as it develops might be a cool experiment. Studies show children raised in bilingual, or even trilingual households have the capacity to better understand grammar and learn new languages on top of their first two, while

@berkng: All musicians start out as illiterate. No one learns to read music before they learn to play, and this does teach a very basic form of music reading, particularly in associating symbols (an incredibly basic skill) with keys and reading at a metered pace (a incredibly necessary skill).

@berkng: That makes no sense. I've studied music for years and never noticed any correlation between playing ability and reading ability. Some of the best musicians I've met can't read a lick of music, and some of the worst I've met can sightread Tchaikovsky. Nor have I met a musician, even those that study theory

@cmdtacos: They probably use averages based upon total numbers detected over a period (or multiple periods) of time, comparing between the different techniques.
