I don’t think you necessarily are in the minority. Our next car will likely be electric, and I’m not even thinking about Tesla right now. I’ve had similar conversations with friends who are in the same boat, and have the same perspective.

The EV market is still so young it will be interesting to see where future sales go. I know I’m in the minority of people who are buying an EV this year and have no interest in Tesla ownership. Yeah. I agree with this, generally, but we’re in a weird state right now where we don’t have the supply bandwidth for low margin high volume production. Furthermore when one of the largest manufacturers decides to leave the largest (by volume) segment… this can definitely become a problem.
