I think it’s Peugeot that does that, rather than Citroën, although they are part of the Groupe PSA parent company and more broadly Stellantis. Also, Peugeot combines the dashboard design with a smaller steering wheel, to make it easier to have the wheel positioned lower and not block anything or impede legroom; I’m

Admittedly, the Prettiest Prius ever is a very low bar, but yeah, I actually dig the looks of this thing.

You are correct , and most people don’t notice that. The Saturn Outlook shared most of its shape with the GMC Acadia, but with some distinctions, like the wheel flare shape, rear light apertures, and wraparound rear windscreen. Overall, the Saturn was more chiseled.

I believe one of GMC’s main purposes was to allow Buick, Oldmobile, and Pontiac dealerships to sell trucks without being a Chevrolet dealer.

Counterpoint: The 9-7X isn’t the worst Saab, it’s the best Trailblazer.

There used to be this perception that GMCs were somehow a little “tougher” than their Chevy counterparts. A friend of mine had a GMC Jimmy years ago, and another common friend was telling him how the GMCs’ steel was a little thicker than that on the Chevy Blazer twin. Tough to talk someone out of their perceptions

The 9-7x (the Tröllblazer) has got to be worse - a modestly sized turbo hatch makes a lot more sense for Saab than a big BOF SUV.

Just wanted you to know I resurrected my long-lost Kinja account just to give you a star. I hope others do the same.

This is not the greatest badge engineering in the world, no

Holy shit... the guy who drove GMG into the ground is ALSO responsible for the 737 MAX?!

I don’t think this will ground the already certificated MAX 8 and 9. It only applies to the yet to be finished 7 and 10. They were never going to go back and retrofit the existing aircraft.

That's horrifying and indicative of some mistakes by the organizers.  Two fatal crashes in as many days points towards inadequate safety equipment in the cats and insufficient course recce and preparation.  Racing is dangerous but after over a century we know how to mitigate risk.

Another particularly alarming trend is the use of crowds of protesters to attack vehicles. No mention of presumably innocent drivers being beaten nearly to death on Minnesota Interstate Highways.

I’m all about a new Z, but “400Z” is an objectively dumb name for a car with a twin turbo 3.0L that has a storied history involving a prior generation with a twin-turbo 3.0L with a name that directly correlates to its displacement.

Nissan, stop being stupid and call this the 300Z already.

It was truly a great time. Did I got my extra point for my Peugeot 504 brochure ?

A huge thank you to Jason and David for hosting this event! Can’t wait to do it again this week!

To be fair Nissan bringing something that’s supposed to innovatively tread where no one else has and just winds up being crap no one else considered because it wasn't any good is kind of expected at this point.

If by “cowards” you mean “the people who have started a brand new series from the ground up, built a fanbase, and have huge manufacturer interest in a market that really wasn’t clamoring for an EV series, but still ended up making a racing series that has slowly grown from nothing into an influential international

Such a shame. He should have created another opioid derivative and sold it through doctors. That's a okay.
