That D pillar is straight off the Honda Passport. It looks much less obviously front-drive-minivan proportioned than their other SUVs, which has always been Honda’s problem.

The more-modern Z-cars used the 3.5L and later the 3.7L versions of the VQ-series V6. The 300ZX was the ‘90s version which only came with a 3L engine in North America.
