@Lahjik: I too think Reed to be a pompous asshat, but if I'm right he has the same meteorological degree you do, from the same institution.

And now we know what that public meeting was about a few years back.
I would have thought the answer was obvious.
@Odin: I'm guessing TRIM will come in Lion (Hopefully).
@bowei437: AT&T has some pretty good speech recognition....Bell Labs did kind of invent the field back in the day.
@TheCrudMan: Long term yes, the notebook will die. But the problem here is that we're looking at a graph that's illustrating year-to-year changes rather than overall sales. A 4% change is a normal variation in this kind of growth, look at the sales charts for iPods around 2006.
I'm wondering why there isn't a USB port right next to the power plug. It seems like this will just put unnecessary strain on the cables. Maybe it was a cheap afterthought?
@Skunky: If it's a hardtop Miata, the rear pillar could be considered a C-pillar when it's up.
@TonyRockyHorror: The restricted airspace goes way outside of the district. They had to close a few private airfields because they were too close.
@PinkSabbath: It's going to be pretty hard for someone to claim that FSJ is damaging the reputation of Steve Jobs. He's got the word "Fake" in the title of the blog.
@JS_Drupal: If you don't have Verizon, where's the Skype app for Android?
@talkingstove: I'm hoping WebOS 2.0 on the PalmPad does this. It seems like the most scalable UI paradigm.
@Nicholas Lauer: I bet we will.
General rule: if you're on public property, you can record whatever you want to, unless someone specifically asks you not to record them.
@Nicholas Lauer: They updated the post. My theory was right, but someone else grabbed a pic of the manufacturer plate, making it definite.
@Nicholas Lauer: I don't think it's a crime to slap bodypanels on another car to disguise it....
@tonyola: I've seen this shape before somewhere....
@Nicholas Lauer: What about a mule for a Fisker Karma? (it's about the right length, it's got california manufacturer plates, if we presume it's a plug in hybrid that just makes it even more likely)
@tj: Compsci classes aren't commercial derivatives, and therefore are fair use.
@bucho54: They're real. The black iPhone has one big gap in the glass coating, but you can't see it, because it's black. The grid of dots is there so the proximity sensor can see through without requiring the same huge black dot on the display.
