most cars have auto HVAC. That’s not an excuse. I should be able to adjust the climate super easily whenever I want. It was a non issue for 50 years, so why is that being taken away now? Also, even with automatic climate, touchscreens are still annoying.

Absolutely agree with the KIA TT 3.3.

Who?

Yeah, malaise era engines made this nearly impossible. Anyone that remembers the “pause...shudder...varrumph” of hitting the gas with the computer controlled carbs knows that idles truly can be set with zero power beyond what is needed to keep the engine turning.

I tried this method with my girlfriend one time. She struggled to learn with other methods so I simplified things. “You’re on flat ground. Absolute worst case - the car stalls. But don’t worry, this car is very hard to stall”. It was a BMW 330i with a really easy clutch and torquey engine.

There’s a chance to build a massive government bureaucracy of overpaid union workers, so expect to see the VCD (Vaccine Confirmation Department) setting up offices near you soon.

Well that should go nicely with your plastic pocket protector.

but chances are good you’ll need yours for proof of vaccination at some point if you travel or as you return to work or school

Apparently they decided it’s racist because only black people smoke crack.

They must have offended someone :-)  It is 2020

Yeah except that 24 mpg is pretty amazing for a 6000 lb, 4wd beast that can literally do everything you’d ever need in a vehicle, including run 240v tools and power your house as a generator.

Emissions on vehicles now are MUCH better than they used to be. And the West is on fire due to dumbass fire control policies.

Thank you for not using a slideshow...

The driver couldn’t have been asleep-from the video, the car stayed perfectly within its lane even as the highway took a slight bend.

Based on the trajectory of the speed graph, it may not have been going over the speed limit, or not by much, prior to the AP kicking off.

The graph starts at 105 but that is only about 17 seconds before impact. Autopilot was disengaged 40 seconds before the collision. That is a really long time to mistake the brake pedal for the accelerator.

You are unable to understand the unintended consequences of stopping all traffic enforcement. It would be very, very bad.

This is one of the most idiotic articles ever posted on Jalopnik.

My 2009 VW would tell me when a light was out. Some people will ignore that shit.

Some cars do tell you that information.  The problem is people can’t be bothered to fix it.
