You think working class are not dressing up to offend you? Or maybe they don’t have time to think of you, and spend money on essentials and wearing whatever is useful to work? Before ballcap and sneaker became trendy collection items like Marvel toys, they were used for function.

Isn’t Mazda whole engine lineup a 2.5 with 185 or 225 hp? Maybe 250 in CX9?

How is spread same faceberg-media-corporate politics to every corner of life “bait”? Always most insufferable people who infect everything they find

As outsider who love this culture, I can’t imagine hating those who spent decades creating it for you to enjoy now.

As someone amaze by American technology and infrastructure, I wonder who he thinks create all this tech and car culture, and what kind of insane revisionist history he consume to form his view lol...

If there is one opinion I want on cars, it’s “academic” associate professor of political science and definite car enthusiast Cara Daggett, who seem to be another cog in relentless corporate-university-government leviathan of perpetual finger-wagging.

Revive the Ford partnership since Mazda has crap for engines, and Ford is getting rid of cars. Put EcoBoosts in the entire lineup (AWD + 2.3 for the MS3, AWD + 2.7 for the MS6).

Mazda was partnered with Ford for a while, now it seems they’re too small to design a modern drivetrain. Imagine combining the EcoBoost lineup with Mazda’s body design & driving dynamics.

Even with a rigid chassis/suspension, no driveline slack, and a full inch of vehicle roll, the 40-50x total drive ratio would have the engine turning something like 0.02".

Typical total drive ratio in first is what, 40-50x? 80-90x in a Jeep? Meaning if a strapped down car has a full inch of roll, and zero driveline slack, you’ll turn the motor .025" max?

So my $750 5x8' trailer, which weighs ~500 lbs empty and is good for 1500-2000 lbs of material, now needs a 1500 lb, $10,000 battery?

I agree that downgrading to a 4-banger is disappointing, but a TT V6 replacing a small displacement V8 can give you a ton of potential.

RS3's 2.5T is 400hp stock, good for another 100hp/150tq on stock turbos, and 700+ with a turbo upgrade.  They’re extremely angry about their lack of 6th cylinder.

They may not scream, but have insane tuning potential vs. the 4ish liter V8s they tend to replace whose torque is stuck in the mid-300s without major modification.

Agree on sound, but the fact that they come with 350-450 horsepower, and easily go into the 500s with a tune, vs. their small/revvy V8 equivalents that tended to be stuck in the 300s for torque?  That’s a compromise I’ll take.

Audi’s TT 2.7 & 2.9,

How much of a “real problem” could counterfeits of something most of the country isn’t using for anything be?

Sure, minus the 99.9% or whatever survival rate for the cohort gathering like this lol

People who’ve turned virus histrionics into either a full time job or a personality aren’t going to let it go away easily lol

Or reach across to the other door
