Nobody who bought a supra cross shopped anything else; because if they had, they wouldn’t have bought a supra. This isn’t a dig at the car, its a dig at the price. You get so much more for the money elsewhere. You’re right, the folks that are buying one are buying it for completely subjective reasons, and cross

Neutral: Is there any modern mainstream brand that is unreliable? All four of my lifetime mechanic uncles swear that its harder to find an unreliable car nowadays than it is a reliable one.(I’m extremely appreciative they aren’t just typical boomer: “they don’t make em like they used to argle bargle”). Save for a few

Even if they just called it "Mach-E" with no Mustang that would be better. Though Mach-E does make me think of a certain Boston actor...

How do you like your quick jacks? I am trying to convince myself to get the mid-rise or full rise scisor lift

Don’t forget Little Diomede Island between Alaska and Russia where they literally throw ALL of their trash into the ocean on a daily basis. It’s unbelievable to see it. I watched a documentary on this Island before and they mentioned it so casually as if it was nothing. I was thinking how much this must build up over

this is all to appease people who don’t give a damn about F1 in the first place. How in the fuck do they suggest shipping cars between cities? Sail? Get a grip. This is a well laid out marketing deck for fools naive enough to believe any of their changes will have a meaningful impact

Wait, is that true about the track being worn in one direction or did a joke just fly over my head?

That is road-load horsepower at 50 mph. This factor incorporates friction and aero drag

C6>C8>C7.

You want a balanced weight setup. Lack of weight on one end is as bad as too much. Stripped out a bunch of weight from my SHO in the trunk area and it became... a snap oversteer monster. Bit wet out and boom, spun like a top around that very heavy and very far forward engine. Strange solution in this case was summer

All other things being equal, wouldn’t a mid-engined RWD vehicle fare better in snow than a front-engined RWD vehicle? You should have more weight over the driven wheels.

I’ll sound the alarm once I see “Racial Inequality Doesn’t Stop with Brake Pads.

I regret that I have only one star to give for any Dune reference, especially a solid cut like that one. Salute.

Yep, just the typical attitude around here.

2 doors? No Hatchback? Isn’t Subaru supposed to be outdoorsy?

Fuck me that is fast for a factory available car. Like, that is so insanely fast. I drive a nostalgia alcohol funny car, with a blown alcohol 563ci big block, and we run 6.80-6.90's. That a full body, factory available Challenger is within spitting distance of us is bonkers.

As mentioned here, lots of people (me included) prefer to ride in a nice, clean newer car with a usually-pleasant stranger over getting into the back of a clapped out 265,000 mile 9 year old Crown Vic ex cop car with the cop spec knee killing partition and cramped vinyl back seat, failed A/C and the ABS and airbag

I agree. Uber and Lyft have provided excellent service the times I have used it. I just don’t particularly like that people are out here using their own cars and taking the wear and tear costs associated with that.

I think at some point ride-sharing is going to get too expensive and taxi companies are going to get
