“Drive Free or Die”
“Drive Free or Die”
Counterpoint: what part of “1.2 liter 3 cylinder cute-ute” jives even slightly with “Drive Free or Die”?
My reaction to the BMW 2 Series FWD Focus Edition: Not like this.
Maybe if you replace one piece at a time until nothing original is left...
I could understand being generous with terms like “stock” if there’s some actual debate (“the cam is just a mild one, and the pistons we swapped have the same design”), but there’s almost nothing left of the stock engine here.
He’s saying that once you replace everything but the block and crank, you can’t reasonably call it a “stock” engine
No typo, I pointed out the 35k sports cars that run with it performance-wise, and then a 45k that still undercuts the Supra in the premium sports market, for people who think it’s competing there. I don’t think it is btw, but if they want to play that game they should offer a 35k Supra and a 49k Lexus.
370Z, Mustang, Camaro. Even the M235/40 start <45k right?
Bingo. It’s competitive at 35k and a great car at 29k. But 49k? Crazy.
Mustang Mach-E could just be...Mach-E. Still has the subtle Mustang tie-in (Mach 1) if they think they need the styling link, without a silly lifting of their pony car’s name.
There are a few flakes but the spread is pretty tight. If you look at the problems per 100 vehicle ratings, they’ll average something like 130, with the best ones at 105 and the worst at 160. So for your vehicle, that’s 1.05 vs. 1.3 vs. 1.6 problems expected.
You just described the Toyota model: 7-8 year product cycles vs. 3-4 mean the 12yo 4Runner you’re still selling has every kink worked out. Bulletproof, but you’re still stuck with a 5 speed, no direct injection benefits, etc.
Well your “normal height friends of 6 foot” are trying to fit into an early 90s Japanese sports coupe, meaning they’d tower over the average male there by probably 5"...
I’m sure you think you’re just one daily outrage from being crowned a hero, but the reality is no one respects the self-hating nasally types
Pollution? They’re talking about carbon here...
Agreed, 95% of ocean pollution comes from India & Africa dumping literal truckloads of trash and sewage directly into their rivers, but let’s focus exclusively on signaling how “carbon neutral” niche events in the first world are and crank up the rolling blackouts...
Your “salty 60+ year old” full of battle scars and wisdom was no doubt lectured by the sassy employees at progressive MCM about his priv-uh-lege and mansplaining
Rear engine cars suffer from snap oversteer, and I don’t know that it’s any more prevalent than FF cars spinning. Both have weight hanging way out past their respective axles, and this (not just being in back) is what’s not ideal.
I don’t think you’ll see an answer on this. “We turned to Engineering Explained for our answer” means “we found this EE video and wrote a paragraph intro/summary about his content”.
Know how I know you’ve never had a real “problem”?
