That'll do, pig.

I'm pretty sure race relations applies when a key plot line involves a white cop executing two black men.

While the movie hasn't stuck with me over the last 15 years or so, it still has a killer soundtrack.

It appears they have hair dryers in Wayward Pines.

Considering that everyone was scrambling to leave the 90's in 1999, I think it's fair to sneak The Matrix (and Office Space) into the 00's bracket.

Except if that thesis is related to Internet culture and race relations.

Quintessential 90's for me pretty much boils down to Pulp Fiction, Wayne's World and Terminator 2. And maybe Con Air (maybe).

At least Michael Wincott was using some decent shampoo and conditioner.

It could have benefited from little to no ex-girlfriend plot and focused more on the technology and the racial tensions - which is eerily prescient of today's headlines (even though the movie was recalling the L.A. riots from a few years prior).

On the other hand, it's a pretty great movie. I highly recommend watching it.

Is this supposed to be one of those user name/comment synergy moments? Because its working like gangbusters.

Those people are asshats.

The Pucky Klan celebrates with a fourth-some.

Mocking "Tears in Heaven" is a cold-blooded psychopathic response to a song about the loss of a child who fell 53 stories to his death from a NYC apartment. It's one of the most affecting songs I've ever heard and I find it difficult to separate its schmaltz from its genuine source of pain and suffering.

It isn't one of my favorites. It's a good song but, relatively speaking and as a completely personal opinion, its more skippable than the others I mentioned.

Its not strange, just subjective. The same way I found the original list "strange". I'm not suggesting the songs you mentioned are bad but I would certainly skip some or all of them more than any of the ones in my list.

I happened to watch Project Nim shortly before seeing Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Many of the parallels clearly revealed the inspiration for the remake but the ethics of Nim really primed me for the not-to-subtle commentary of Rise in a big way. It turned out to be a very effective double-feature.

Arguably, wealth can make you very lonely. Perhaps Paul is projecting his loneliness on the world?

Considering that there are little to no legitimate picks (in my opinion) for letters F, J, L, Q, U, V, X and Z, this is a hard list to do when when 30% of the alphabet simply does not apply. On top of that, some picks are just straight up headscratchers (Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand but not Kansas City?)

But what if you're a cim-cardashian?
