I also prefer neutral with the parking brake set. I’d rather put the strain on the brake than the transmission, though I guess if you put it in gear AND use the parking brake, if your brake is getting worn down, then the gears can take the rest..

Crazy. I won’t act perfect, I’ve hopped back in my cars only to realize they are in neutral with the parking brake set, but even if I were to release the brake, they don’t have the ability to roll anywhere.
