Funny they are trying to sell them in Georgia. Georgia used to be an EV friendly state with a tax break. 4 years ago that ended and now we are saddled with a $200 annual EV “registration” fee. Georgia must really need to replace the money from fuel tax these EVs are not paying.

I agree. I’ve had good luck with 3 Japanese cars, 1st one had 315K mi when I traded it for the 2nd one which had 217K mi when the odometer broke. I drove it for almost 2 more years. The 3rd will roll 200K before year’s end. All 3 with routine maintenance and completely without a major incident. My ex had a Japanese

Too little mileage is also not good. I was looking for a car for a friend’s son and a friend of a friend mentioned a church member that had a car she didn’t drive. She was a little old lady and hadn’t driven it in a while. It was a 1997 Honda Accord with 18,500 miles on it (850 miles/yr). I looked it over and passed

Wow that’s lots of problems from 1 VW. I don’t know how you could beat up on the company, though. They make the most cars. They must be good. Your anecdote isn’t really a data set.

How is that not a win? You know what I don't want in my Lexus coupe? Kids.

Light platform, big motor. I'm baffled about the 5 speed, but if this is sorted and passes a PPI, it's an easy NP.

I also keep a full size spare on a steelie. I drive frequent long trips above the 55MPH donut speed limit. It just make sense.

The same day as they go on sale in Florida.

I agree. It seems that Ford could truckify a Transit van. It would be a shorter package overall and could have a longer bed. Or, a 6.5' bed and fit in a regular garage.

I has a friend’s with one of these and a Corvair truck. I’m trying to talk him into getting a Nissan Leaf at Copart and putting transaxle in the Corvair.

Everyone knows the fastest car in the world is a rental car with the extra insurance.

I’d like the rental car spec Mustang wheels in a wider width with flat black calipers. To finish the look, add one of those smoking in the vehicle adds a cleaning charge sticker and a huge e-pass box on the windshield and go full on sleeper. The only thing is that the exhaust on the GT350 gives away the ruse every

All valid points. I don’t have any account I use an SMS for 2 factor authentication. I use a Yubikey. But I’m an outlier. I only keep 1 Gmail account on my phone. It never gets mail. I used it to setup my work phone. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t change the password inside the mail app especially without my 2FA token. I

Yeah, what's up with the replies? Don't bother and reply to this, I'll never find it. Actually, dogrivergrad68 may never find this reply, so meh, whatever.

Yeah, but where is the car in that shot?

I recently looked into a RAV4 hybrid for my sister. The price difference was like $800-$1000. There’s no real direct comparison as the options were different between the packages. Driving 20K miles a year pays it off pretty quickly. She ended up trading a 18MPG SUV for a 47MPG. Driving her new car for less than

GM: There’s no money in hybrids or PHEVs.

CP at any price. Seriously, what kind of discount comes on the hood to make this car competitive, now? It is realistically a 2012 MY car. They never updated it. If I want a car from 2012, I’m headed straight to the Nissan lot!

I looked at a late model performance car for a friend. It had a service history. I investigated and the 1st owner cheaped out on EVERYTHING. 7,500 mile oil changes were done at a local shop and they didn’t use the required synthetic oil. I can’t even imagine what a no service history car would get. I never assume

If you give your insurance company a false low mileage number to get a better rate and then you have a claim, can they void your claim because you were dishonest? Every year I verify my policy and one of the first things I usually hear is that my policy is expensive. Then I point out that I have my policy set for
