Alodine is a favorite coating my company uses for the airplane/helicopter parts we build.

One of my co-workers has a 2000 Prius in that aqua color. Has a replacement battery. He’s been driving it 16 years on the second battery.

The leaf has similar package space to the Hyundai beater my rural delivery driver uses. She drives it from the wrong side like you said above. I can’t imagine that a RHD Leaf would be less safe. There needs to be an exemption for this kind of import. Or, have Nissan bring the RHD Leaf (or E-NV200 van) with only 1…

That’s a good comment. I do know that it was very difficult to keep it out of boost. Every time I set the cruise control, it pretty much stayed in boost. There was no point during stop and go driving that I accelerated without spooling the turbo. I've driven a 1.5T Malibu and didn't have that issue at all. 

I think a fuel tax would help. Raise it over the course of a few years and give people time to change their buying habits. Also, to capture electric vehicle use, a system could be implemented that used telemetry gathered from the electric cars to bill the owner for road use monthly. 

This would be a nice weekend car...

This was exactly the cup holder I had in a 74 GMC truck I had years ago.

I never trust OBC mileage estimates. I always math it out over a tank full or 3.

I’ve driven a 1.5T Malibu. I got good fuel economy, but didn’t really put enough miles on it to make a call (approximately 200 miles).

Do you mean that $240 is insurance company, hospital and doctor billing departments, drug advertising, etc? I’d rather have my healthcare dollars spent on actual healthcare. Call me crazy!

I had a rental Equinox last year and the fuel economy was abysmal. I didn't drive it hard, just moderate driving and during the 1000 or so miles I had it I averaged below 20 MPG. 

Came for Ackbar, not disappointed.

$30K worth of tires, brakes, and fuel. Throw in some driver's lessons for good measure. 

My commute is in there somewhere. Mostly mine is orange and yellow, though.

Had my healthcare not been tied to my employer, I might have moved to a different company or location. My current healthcare is great and covers my pre-existing conditions. 

I'm sure if we looked harder...
